Cricket Betting Markets — Popular Bet Types
Get a good understanding of these markets before placing cricket bets at mk99.
| Bet Type (Market) | Example |
|---|---|
| Match Winner | Bangladesh vs India — bet on which team will win the match. |
| Toss Winner | Bet on which team will win the toss — the outcome depends entirely on chance. |
| Top Batsman | Bet on which batsman will score the most runs in a given innings. |
| Total Runs Over/Under | Bet on whether a team will score more or fewer runs than a set limit in a full innings. |
| Runs in an Over | Bet on how many runs will be scored in a specific over — very popular in live markets. |
| Method of Dismissal | Bet on whether the next wicket will fall by bowled, caught, run out, or another method. |
| Player of the Match | Place a bet in advance on who will be named Player of the Match at the end of the game. |
How do live in-play odds change?
When a wicket falls, odds on the weaker team rise and odds on the stronger team shorten. As the required runs in the final overs decrease, the favourite's odds tighten. In BPL or IPL T20 matches, odds move fastest during the powerplay overs.

Betting Exchange — A Simple Guide to Back vs Lay
On a regular sportsbook you bet against the bookmaker. On an exchange you bet directly against other players — the market sets the odds, not the bookmaker.
| Back (Support) | Lay (Oppose) |
|---|---|
| Bet that the team will win | Bet that the team will not win |
| If it wins, profit according to the odds | If it loses, you bear full liability |
| Familiar role of a regular bettor | Essentially acts in the role of the bookmaker |
An Example (Back Bet)
Say you place a ৳500 Back bet at odds of 2.0 — if it wins, you receive ৳1,000 (profit of ৳500). The exchange platform charges a small commission on transactions — typically a few percent of the winnings.

Against Other PlayersAndar Bahar
A card is turned face up and cards are drawn one by one from the remaining deck. Bet on whether the matching card will appear on the Andar (left) or Bahar (right) side. Played with a live dealer.
Live DealerCallbreak
A trick-taking game for four players. Spades are always trump. Before each round, you must bid how many tricks you will win. Start with low bids to get a feel for the rules.
